There is an upheaval for sure, but what seems like a new round of sea to shining sea conflicts, also felt to me to be very old. I couldn't quite put my finger on it though, so you know what that means…time to break out the Coherence Verification!
Is there a beneficial, intentional way can we spend some downtime? Or, is the idea of intentional downtime a bit like a unicorn? You can imagine it, but no one's actually shown you one in person.
No amount of intellectual capability, talent, skill, artistic merit, money, fame, or admiration from others allows you to escape yourself. As the old saying goes, "No matter where you go, there you are."
If we are asking "why" questions, and we want to discover what's going on, then we are asking the wrong questions.
